What are these crazy things? And what do I do with them?
To be honest I had never used them or tried them until last year. I have been missing out. The are great sautéed, made into pesto or used in baking for a savory bread. Enjoy!

I love garlic scapes! I like to sauté them and incorporate into an egg scramble or frittata! I also have added them to soups and sautéed vegetable dishes.
I did a recipe using beets, walnuts, Gorgonzola in a sweet vinegerett if anyone interested. Came out great. A different approach then pickling. You can find it on Allrecipes
